WWF Betrayal - Game Boy

Despite its license, WWF Betrayal is not a wrestling game, but a brawler reminiscent of Double Dragon. The player starts off as either of the four WWF superstars: The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The story consists of the player's selected wrestler being just moments away from winning the WWF Championship before getting hit from behind by an unknown assailant and defeated. The protagonist wakes up to discover that Stephanie McMahon, a WWF manager and Triple H's wife (both on-screen and in real life), has been kidnapped, and her father, the federation CEO Vince McMahon, promises the player's character another shot at the title if he rescues Stephanie.

There are six levels to choose from; the protagonist traverses these stages and fights off referees, street punks, security guards, and even other WWF superstars with punches, kicks, dropkicks, or with various weapons scattered throughout the stages, such as steel pipes, nightsticks, 2x4's, and others. Not only does the hero have to defeat enemies: he also has to avoid various traps and pitfalls - patches of fire, floor traps, and laser cannons, to name a few.

There are also power-ups that are located in various places throughout the game, which can replenish the protagonist's health and power bar. Additionally, when the player fills up a character's power bar, he can unleash his unique finishing moves, such as the Stone Cold Stunner or the Pedigree, on a selected enemy. There is also an option for a second player to join in, using a link cable to team up and help out on the friend's journey.

Dispatch Times

Items are dispatched within 3 working days unless otherwise stated. Your estimated dispatch date will be shown at checkout. Some items may be in stock at our supplier and require a transfer to our dispatch centre before being sent, these will all have a later estimated dispatch date shown in your basket and on your order confirmation. Please note that these dates are estimated, and whilst we always aim to meet and often exceed these dates, there will be the occasional item that is dispatched slightly later than the estimate.

Delayed or missing items

If you have not received your item within the timeframe estimated on your dispatch confirmation, please contact us, and we will be happy to look into this for you. There can be delays caused by weather, holidays, and postal and customs backlogs. These are thankfully fairly uncommon, but please do not be alarmed if your item is a little late. On the incredibly rare occasion that an item is found to be lost, a replacement will be provided.

Please ensure that you check your delivery address before buying. We cannot be held responsible for lost items where an incorrect address has been provided.

Cancelled orders

If you need to cancel an order before it has been sent, please let us know. Note that cancelled orders due to a change of mind are subject to a 5.5% fee to cover Paypal fees for refunded transactions.

Returns

If you are unsatisfied with any of the items received (which we hope, due to our high standards, would never happen) please let us know within 7 days of receipt, as we can usually offer a replacement. Any items that require replacement must be posted to us within 14 days of a return being accepted, please ensure you obtain proof of posting / tracking..

Please ensure that you do contact us first for a return authorisation code, as returns will not be accepted without this.

In the unlikely event that any damage has occurred during delivery of your parcel, please ensure you take pictures of the inside and outside of the packaging, as these will be required to make a claim with the postal services.
